How it works

From rough idea to live site.

  1. Pitch / first messageSend the current site, idea, screenshots, references, and what you want people to do when they land there.
  2. QuoteI give you a plain scope and price. If the smaller version makes more sense, I’ll say that.
  3. DepositMost projects start with a deposit. Bigger builds can be split into milestones.
  4. BuildI put together the first usable version: layout, copy cleanup, mobile pass, contact flow, and any agreed features.
  5. RevisionsYou review it and send changes. I include reasonable revision rounds so we can tighten it without dragging forever.
  6. LaunchWe connect the domain, hosting, forms, payments, analytics, and final checks.
  7. Handoff or retainerYou can own it and run it yourself, or keep me on a cheap monthly maintenance plan.

Hosting / handoff / maintenance

Own it yourself, or keep me around.

I prefer clean client-owned setups. Your domain, your accounts, your site. I can help set up hosting and DNS so it is not a mess, then hand it off cleanly.

If you would rather not touch the site after launch, a small maintenance retainer can cover updates, fixes, page edits, form checks, and general upkeep. For most small sites, that can stay cheap and reasonable.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need to already have a domain?

No. If you have one, I can help connect it. If you do not, I can help pick and set one up.

Where should the site be hosted?

For most small sites, I prefer simple low-cost hosting like Vercel or Cloudflare Pages. If the site needs something heavier, I’ll explain why before recommending it.

Who owns the site?

The clean setup is client-owned: your domain, your accounts, your site. I can help manage it, but I do not want to trap people in weird hosting arrangements.

How do payments work?

Usually a deposit to start, then the remaining balance before launch or handoff. Larger projects can use milestones.

Can you maintain it after launch?

Yes. Small monthly retainers are available for edits, fixes, monitoring, and general maintenance.

Can you build unusual stuff?

Yes. Chatbots, mini games, artist players, storefronts, custom dashboards, calculators, or other interactive pieces are all possible if they make sense for the project.
